We are seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a 37-day locum tenens assignment with our client in Nevada. This position starts on Jan 5, 2026, and offers a 2-3 day per week schedule, 8am-5pm with an hour lunch. The role focuses on student health within a college environment, including drug screening, physicals, and medication management. There is a strong likelihood of extension for this assignment. Job Details Location: Nevada Start Date: Jan 5, 2026 LOA: 37 days Provider Type Needed: Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner Schedule: 2-3 days per week, 8am-5pm Responsibilities and Duties Track and conduct drug screenings, physicals, and medication management for college students Maintain paper charting and ensure student health records are up to date in the database Perform drug tests as required Participate in staff meetings (Tuesdays 2-2:30pm, Thursdays 1pm) to review students at risk for behavioral concerns Collaborate with staff to support student wellness and safety Utilize experience in psych and med management as needed Additional Information Active Nevada license required Experience in a college setting preferred Comfortable with paper charting and drug testing protocols Background in psych and medication management is beneficial Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
