Our community health center is a designated Patient Centered Medical Home, coordinating a robust collaborative of community health partnership (wellness center, prescription produce program, teaching kitchen, medical legal partnership). In addition to in-house pharmacy, WFM provides a sizeable network of in-house specialty service clinics (HIV, Hep C, Sports Medicine, Surgery, Cardiology, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Wound Care). Through these various programs, we offer comprehensive, affordable primary care to patients across a broad range of demographics. Waco is a mid-sized city in Central Texas. It is situated on the I-35 corridor between Dallas and Austin. REPORTS TO: Chief Medical Officer and Supervising Physician
- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner degree program.
- Board certification required.
- Current or pending license to practice medicine in the state of Texas.
- Current BLS certification
- Provision of clinical healthcare services for clients in an ambulatory clinic setting.
- Bilingual (Spanish & English) preferred, though not required.
PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS:
